Arkiv Vilmansa
Dengan berbagai patung, instalasi dan lukisannya, Arkiv Vilmansa mengambil acuan dari budaya populer global mulai dari karakter kartun, komik, mainan, hingga berbagai simbol dan elemennya. Warna-warna cerah, garis-garis tegas, dan bentuk-bentuk organik adalah ciri-ciri yang juga membawanya ke berbagai ranah pameran internasional, yang dimulainya dengan berbagai serial art toys, art prints dan lukisan. Ia giat terlibat dalam berbagai proyek kolaborasi dengan berbagai perusahaan dan merek nasional dan internasional. Dengan kebentukan yang bersih, Arkiv adalah seniman Indonesia pertama yang mewakili kawasan Asia Tenggara dalam kolaborasi dengan BAPE (Bathing Ape) dan Sesame Street.
Arkiv Vilmansa, yang lahir 1979, tinggal dan bekerja di Bandung. Pada karya-karya mutakhirnya, seraya mengolah tema biosfer laut, ia menguji seberapa jauh cat (paint) dan lukisan (painting) bisa bertimbal balik dalam kisaran arus pop.
Beberapa pameran solonya adalah, antara lain, Metaphor of Memories (2024) di Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, Bandung; Muted Moment: Within Walls (2022) di Streams Gallery, Hong Kong; Wounderland: A Wounded Wonder di Vins Gallery, Taipei; Silhouette (2020) di Vinyl on Vinyl Gallery, Manila; dan Come to Light (2017) di Element Art Space, Singapore.
Karya-karya Arkiv Vilmansa juga muncul di aneka pameran bersama, misalnya Wave 2023-24 (1924) di Lurf Museum, Tokyo; Pascamasa (2923) di Galeri Nasional Indonesia, Jakarta dan di BAPE Gallery, Beijing; All Is Not What It Seems (2022) di Lorin Gallery, Los Angeles.
