Inspiration comes in many forms. Some arise from joy, while others provide a better understanding of life through hardships and challenges. As our ability to comprehend the meaning of life expands, we start to see joy and hardships as ‘moments’ that teach us valuable lessons for growth. These moments help us accept past difficulties with gratitude and savor joyful experiences, even if they may later lead to remorse.

SARU is a celebration of those moments. It stands apart in appearance, not directly linked to Arkiv’s usual realm because its inspiration is drawn from various moments in his life. As its name suggests, SARU (an Indonesian word for ‘vague’) is an epiphany shaped by muse, trauma, curiosity, and even fear. It serves as a testament to embracing every moment in our lives, acknowledging that we often understand these moments better in hindsight rather than in the ambiguous present.
